The Jazz Corner Hotel is looking for several skilled and passionate Cooks to join our culinary team. Working in a vibrant boutique hotel environment home to the renowned Birds Basement youll prepare and present high-quality dishes for breakfast in-room dining and event service ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cook and present dishes to a consistent high standard.
- Assist in breakfast room service and event menus.
- Maintain a clean safe and organised kitchen environment.
- Comply with all food safety hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Support stock management rotation and waste minimisation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Cook preferably in hotels cafs or restaurants.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- A positive team-focused attitude.
- Availability for early mornings weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
