Job Title: GLIII Event Supervisor

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the implementation oversight and supervision of the Event Dock and Disposal operations at Anschutz Campus. Its goal is to provide and implement a safe effective accountable responsive Event Dock and Disposal teams for Anschutz campus. This position also maintains the Events Management System (EMS) and provides oversite of surplus disposal process as well as the event request and execution process and General Labor IIs /Loading Docks and all related staff.
This position operates independently with support from the facilities manager to perform the full range of tasks and determine solutions to the full range of problems. Judgment is used to select the most appropriate process or procedure and adapt them to accomplish the tasks. This position continually determines practical solutions to problems by applying specific processes techniques and methods. Evaluating current processes and procedures to ensure best methods are being utilized
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of the event/disposal and dock teams.
Planning meetings.
Employee recognition documentation performance plans
Maintaining the Kronos timekeeping system for the event/disposal and dock teams. Vacation sick holiday.
Support the operation through coaching training modeling the expectations of the teams.
Supervisor of essential employees.
Support campus events such as Commencement.
Create maintain processes and procedure around events disposals and docks
Work Location:
Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Colorado driver license
H.S. diploma or GED equivalent
Microsoft excel word experience
2 years of Supervision experience
Able to collaborate with other teams for projects
Safety focused
Colorado law requires that candidates for state government jobs be residents of Colorado at the time of application.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
If you have prior state-classified service in the same class series as this position your pay may be set at a higher amount per the state Step Pay Program implemented on July 1 2024.
