Job Description
Hotel Maintenance Engineer
As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer youll play a vital role in ensuring the safety comfort and satisfaction of our guests through the upkeep and repair of hotel systems facilities and equipment. Youll be responsible for a wide range of tasks from general maintenance to emergency repairs.
What Youll Do:
Performing general preventative and emergency maintenance across the property
Inspecting and maintaining guest rooms public areas and safety equipment to ensure brand compliance and guest satisfaction
Repairing electrical plumbing and mechanical systems including HVAC refrigerators TVs and air conditioners
Conducting routine maintenance of fire alarms extinguishers and other safety systems
Painting cleaning refurbishing furniture and light carpentry as needed
Ensuring common areas such as parking lots landscaping and the pool area are clean and well-maintained
Responding promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues
Assisting with other duties or special projects as needed by hotel management
About You:
You are a hands-on solutions-focused professional who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in keeping things running smoothly and guests feeling safe and comfortable. You bring:
Prior experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot repair and maintain various types of equipment
Strong time management planning and multitasking skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to guest service and working collaboratively with hotel teams
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Physical ability to lift bend and perform manual labor as needed
