AoC is the national voice for further education colleges in England representing almost 95% of the sector and supporting over 2.2 million students every year. We are seeking a Research Officer passionate about data who is keen to establish themselves in an area where their work can truly make a difference. You will provide data analysis and other relevant support to the research policy communications and public affairs functions of AoC. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that sits within the Communications Media Marketing and Research team with opportunities to contribute across a wide range of high-profile projects and initiatives.
Were looking for someone with experience in both quantitative and qualitative data cleaning and analysis including the use of data analysis software and data cleaning processes. You should have experience setting up and running surveys and ideally be familiar with qualitative research methods. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draw out key data points and present them clearly accurately and creatively for a range of audiences. Youll be confident handling data interpreting findings and using visualisation tools to bring insights to life. A background or interest in further education or the public sector is an advantage but not essential.
