COMMUNICATIONS
What We Do
The Epic Communications team advances the companys narrative and represents Epic products and the company vision to external and internal audiences globally. We create positive relationships and engagement strategies with a wide range of audiences including media investors influencers and policymakers.
What Youll Do
Epic is looking for an experienced communications professional to join our corporate communications this role you will lead internal communications about our company policies and culture. You will partner closely with our executive leaders to ensure that we are effectively communicating our mission vision and principles to our employees.
In this role you will
- Lead strategy and execution of internal company communications
- Lead Epic company meetings
- Lead and oversee all large-scale written communications to our global employee base ensuring clarity of vision and a consistent direct tone of voice
- Work with executive leadership on communications programs for their organizations helping leaders effectively engage with their teams
- Partner closely with the People team to develop communications that build employee understanding of the business and their role in future growth rooted in Epics principles
- Demonstrate strong judgment and work cross-functionally to respond to issues internally that may impact our employees
What were looking for
- 7 years of experience leading internal communications preferably at a technology or gaming company
- Experience working closely and building trust with executives
- Experience building and executing upon global internal communications programs from the ground up
- Someone who moves fast is focused on delivering results and has a track record of working well across a diverse group of internal and external partners
- A succinct and creative writer
- Someone who is people-focused passionate solutions-focused and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do
- A proactive problem solver with strong instincts for when to escalate issues
- A team player whos collaborative supportive and celebrates others wins
- Communication skills written and verbal are stellar
