Adjunct Position: Yoga Instructor Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in Yoga instruction. The successful candidate will teach one class section. The start date for the Spring 2026 semester is January 13 but the Department seeks candidates for future semesters as well. Contracts may be renewed on a semester-by-semester basis pending enrollment instructor availability and student success. The successful candidate will: - Hold a current yoga certification (RYT 200 or higher) from a recognized yoga alliance or organization.
- Have experience teaching yoga to a diverse population preferably in a college or educational setting.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be committed to creating a welcoming inclusive and student-centered environment.
- Be familiar with best practices in wellness mindfulness and physical education instruction.
- Have experience using or a willingness to learn Course Management Systems such as Brightspace.
