HYBRID - Boston MA
Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Actuary to join their team. This role is integral to the organizations commercial pricing function with a focus on commercial lines such as CMP and commercial auto. The successful candidate will influence key business decisions through advanced actuarial analysis and modeling working on projects of moderate to high complexity and contributing to innovative solutions that drive business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform complex actuarial and statistical analyses including the development and application of predictive modeling techniques to inform pricing and product strategies.
- Communicate technical results and recommendations clearly to various stakeholders influencing decision-making at multiple organizational levels.
- Mentor and develop less experienced actuarial staff fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in actuarial science mathematics statistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial lines (CMP or commercial auto) pricing experience with strong knowledge of insurance products markets and regulations.
- ACAS designation required with active pursuit of FCAS and/or CSPA designation preferred.
