Job Description
To ensure effective field operations and ensure the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system is accurately reading as well as maintaining water meters and assisting in good customer relations.
- REPORTS TO: Water/Wastewater
- DIRECTS: Does not supervise any employee
- OTHER: Works closely with the Utility Billing Clerk(s) on a day-to-day basis other departmental employees and with the general
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Class B CDL Texas drivers license with tanker endorsement preferred (or must obtain with in the first six months of employment).
- Class D water/wastewater certification or higher (or must obtain within twelve months of hire).
- Class C water distribution/ Collection II license within two years of employment.
- Minimum six months of Water/Wastewater field experience.
