WHAT DOES AN ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR MEDICAL DO
The Associate Director Medical has a deep understanding of the clients business and demonstrates critical thinking and confidence while distilling the scientific and clinical data of the clients brand(s) their competitors and clinical landscape into meaningful insights and strategic recommendations. This individual has the courage to take ownership and produces quality deliverables over multiple assignments often concurrently. Your grasp of the scientific literature and ability to assimilate and transpose data beyond the context of the brand label are the keys to making recommendations to help solve complex business challenges.

Qualifications :
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Advanced degree (PhD MD or PharmD) in medical sciences related field required
Preferably two or more years of agency experience in medical education medical communications and/or HCP marketing
Strategic thinker that understands how to effectively tell a scientific story in a compelling way to differentiate client products
Two years minimum medical writing experience required
Experience creating branded or unbranded peer-to-peer educational content
Expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy
Excellent verbal written and organizational skills
Client-facing confidence that advances dialogue and creates strong agency-client relationships
Experience with complex projects that require collaboration between internal and external teams including key opinion leaders
Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations AMA editorial style and digital

OUR CULTURAL BELIEFS:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $10100 to $150000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience other job-related qualifications/skills and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
