SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Mix Batcher is responsible for mixing of mill ingredients and ration batches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Run multiple pieces of equipment used in the feed mill.
- Monitor ingredients inventory levels.
- Manufacture product to ensure specifications and HACCP requirements are met.
- Grease and lubricate machinery.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pound bags.
- Adjust machines as needed.
- Operate a forklift.
- Oversee computer automation and operate the computer.
Note: This position also serves as a floater. The employee will be cross-trained on multiple roles and shifts and is expected to fill in as needed to cover vacations absences or increased workload. Flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to different responsibilities and work schedules are essential.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication & division
- Experience in production related work
