Responsible for implementing managing and supervising ResponsiveEds Federal Programs and State Compensatory Education departments. Keeps current in Federal appropriations for educational programs and prepares and submits proposals to secure funds for district. Seeks grants to obtain additional potential funding sources.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification and Experience:
- Four-year degree in an education or management-related field from an accredited university. Valid administrators certificate (preferred).
- Three years successful administrative experience in school setting or an equivalent amount of experience with other agencies dealing with Federal appropriations. Experience in research and writing grant proposals for potential funding is desirable.

- Knowledgeable of Federal appropriations for educational programs and federal/state grants
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Excellent verbal communication public relations and interpersonal skills
- Effectively utilize Word Excel Power Point Outlook and navigate through compliance templates
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to work and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to utilize technology for research monitoring reporting and record keeping
- Ability to manage budgets
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administers and monitors all aspects of Federal Programs and State Compensatory Education
- Prepares and submits all federal and state reports as required
- Prepares applications and amendments for projects funded within the guidelines
- Maintains accurate budgeting records and keeps supervisor informed
- Gathers data assessments and evaluations for federally funded interventions and programs
- Researches and seeks out potential funding sources from outside agencies
- Maintains appropriate records as required by each program to include time and effort
- Represents Responsive Education Solutions at workshops and meetings on local district and state meetings as related to assigned programs
- Works cooperatively with staff in providing a team network of support for schools and the district
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
