Job Description

TechTrans International provides language services and travel logistics language teaching interpreting translating travel coordination and much more. We have international offices staff and clients calling us from around the world. We are seeking a Fulltime Contracts Specialist for our Clear Lake/Houston Texas office. The position will work closely with the HR Department and the Contracts Director.
Duties and Skills include:
  • Maintain contractual documents files correspondence reports and other appropriate and applicable documents and corresponding logs. Maintain update and audit corporate contract management database and serve as main point of contact for information and reports related to the database.
  • Assist in maintaining corporate insurance
  • Works in conjunction with interdisciplinary team to ensure contractual requirements are met as determined by established deliverables; ensures adherence to those deliverables; communicates milestones and commitments.
  • Negotiate directly with various parties for approval of proposals change orders and contract modifications
  • Examine prepare and modify a variety of technical legal documents reports and agreements as directed
  • Assist international offices and outside counsel with the collection of authorized signatures on legal documents as well as legalization of documents
  • Negotiate fees and ensure quality service with registered representative and other contractors in connection with corporate secretarial matters
  • Assist with status reports and related project reporting analyses to company and client management
  • Assist in coordination of expatriate employees including but not limited to researching local legal laws set up with local payroll companies liaise between internal and external departments.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of highly sensitive information
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of business administration experience (may be substituted for advanced degree)
  • Strong analytical skills along with exceptional oral and written communication skills required
  • Must have the ability to make sound business judgments handle multiple contractual activities with a short turn-around time and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to demonstrate professionalism in a demanding high stress and fast-paced environment.
  • Computer savvy- excellent proficiency with MS Office Suite
