Core Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Operates coating machines that apply resins paints or other solutions to continuous sheets or rolled substrates.
• Surface Preparation: Cleans and preps surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
• Coating Application: Applies coatings using spray guns rollers or automated systems to meet specific thickness and quality standards.
• Quality Control: Monitors coated materials for defects like wrinkles uneven coverage or breaks; performs touch-ups or rework as needed.
• Process Monitoring: Adjusts feed speed tension and drying temperatures to maintain consistency and prevent defects2.
• Maintenance & Safety: Performs routine equipment checks maintains a clean work area and follows strict safety protocols including PPE usage.
