Enerveo is one of the largest contracting businesses in the UK offering a broad scope of services including mechanical electrical high voltage electrical vehicle (EV) infrastructure installation test and inspection services as well as street lighting.

Job Title:Civils Team

Base Location: Slough Southampton or Poole to cover the Wessex region.

Salary:(37-hour week) Foreperson - 42693 Dumper Driver/Machine Operator - 32412 Labourer - 26191 plus a range of other benefits to support your family finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern:Full Time Monday Friday 8am-4pm. Overtime there for those who want it.

What will I be doing in this role

Enerveo have been awarded a prestigious LV/EHV contract for a DNO within the Wessex regions the project consists of a full turnkey solution for design and build covering Reactive and Planned activities inclusive of design planning excavations jointing and reinstatement Enerveo will be assisting our client with all Faults and New connections up to 33Kv.

Working in a 3-person civils team you will be responsible for conducting a variety of civil engineering tasks including excavation laying of ducting and cabling reinstatement and general civil works.

In a typical day the team can expect to be.

• Review setting to work documentation including utility prints.
• Completion of Risk Assessments in advance of works to ensure relevant controls are in place.
• Completing of site investigations for the identification of utilities in advance of excavation work
• Excavation of grass verge footway & road for the installation of duct or cables
• Undertaking & Assisting with Traffic management procedures
• Support our Electrical teams.
• Have the training and competency to complete reinstatement of surfaces such as concrete tarmacadam blocks.

What do I need to be successful in the role

We would love you to join us with experience working in a similar role and you must be able to physically lift dig and carry equipment and be comfortable working outdoors. We would also love you to bring to us.

Foreperson:

• S.W.Q.R Supervisor or Operatives
• SMSTS certified.
• First Aid 3 year AED
• Electric CSCS Shea Power
• Timber & Shuttering Supports Systems
• Trailor and Towing License
• CSCS Gold Card
• Clean Driving License

Dumper Machine Operator:

• S.W.Q.R Ganger / Foreman / Machine Operator
• Excavator Operator CPCS
• Dumper Operator CPCS
• Clean Driving License
• CSCS Skilled White Card

Labourer:

• S.W.Q.R Ganger / Foreman / Machine Operator
• Manual Handling
• Cable Avoidance Training
• Electric CSCS Shea Power
• HSG47 Safe Excavations
• Sub Entry up to 132KV.
• Clean Driving License
• CSCS Labour Green Card

Some of our nice to haves are.

• We would look for you to hold IPAF/PASMA working at heights training.
• An HGV Class 2 Licence
