Jr Pipefitter Opportunities in the Sterling Heights MI. Area!!!
An advanced international company in the Sterling Heights MI. area is seeking several Entry Level/Junior Pipefitters for long-term positions with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Jr. Trades Recent High School Graduates or experienced Pipefitters looking for a company that offers excellent pay medical and a great home/life balance!
Junior Pipefitter rates are anticipated to start in the $18-22/hour range based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours.
Qualified Junior Pipefitters should have most if not all of the following skills and experience:
- Good basic math skills (shop math- basic fractions decimals reading a tape measure etc.) and solid skills using basic tools.
- Skills reading blueprints is a benefit but training is available.
- Manufacturing CNC Machining assembly facility pipefitting or any experience in a manufacturing environment is a benefit.
- High School Diploma GED or good academic grades.
- Open to training and development.
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background drug screen etc.
