Job Description:
As a member of the Mechanical Engineering team the candidate for the Designer role will collaborate with engineers to design complex and robust military communication equipment as well as support existing products and cost reduction initiatives. Design skills will be applied to develop robust electronic packaging solutions for use in harsh this dynamic and fast-paced environment the candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the product development cycle which include but are not limited to; concept design prototype/discovery testing supply chain and manufacturing activities. Products are typically designed and tested to MIL-STD-810 environmental standards therefore experience and/or exposure in designing products for military applications is preferred but not required. Candidate shall have strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a passion for solving complex problems through innovation. Working with peers and cross-functional team members the candidate will help provide world-class products to our customers through quality performance in the essential functions that follow.
Note: This role is not an engineering position and does not require a bachelors degree. Candidates with an associates degree technical certification or equivalent hands-on experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York State is $68000 - $126000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
