Job Description
Our Global Security team is looking for a Regional Security Manager with strong leadership experience operational expertise and a proactive approach to physical security. This individual will be the regional subject matter expert driving the implementation of our security management program across a diverse operational footprintincluding chemical facilities supply chain operations and remote work environments.

What You Will Do:
- Implement physical security strategies tailored to chemical facilities supply chain operations and remote workers.
- Manage Corporate Security Managers across the region and develop a network of local security coordinators.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Oversee access control video surveillance intrusion detection and perimeter security systems across NA facilities.
- Support workplace violence prevention and remote worker safety protocols including vehicle tracking and incident reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations.
- Support investigations into security incidents and ethics violations and advise site leadership on dynamic threats.
- Deliver and adapt security awareness training for employees contractors and remote workers.
- Coordinate with the Global Physical Security Technology Manager on system upgrades and standardization.
- Oversee proprietary and contract guard services to ensure consistent and effective coverage.
- Collaborate on crisis response planning and drills with emergency response teams and GIS developers.
- Partners with SH&E HR facilities and supply chain teams to align security with operational goals.
- Assist in developing and managing security budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in security management criminal justice business administration or a related field. or 12 years of work experience
- 7 years of experience in physical security management including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in security systems such as access control video surveillance and intrusion detection.
- Travel: up to 50% across North America
- 7 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships.
- Immigration sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g. CPP PSP).
- Excellent communication skills with 5 years of experience training staff and presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively under pressure.
- Experience managing security for remote or mobile workforces.
- Familiarity with chemical industry-specific security challenges including hazardous material handling and regulatory compliance.
