The Mt. Abraham Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced Long-Term Substitute Physical Education Teacher to serve students at Beeman Elementary School for a temporary position is anticipated to run from November 10 2025 through January 6 2026. The schedule includes two days per week on Tuesday and successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging standards-based physical education instruction and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment in the absence of the regular PE : Deliver high quality standards-based physical education instruction to students in grades K-6. Foster a positive inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and well-being. Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and productive physical education setting. Assess student performance and progress using appropriate tools and techniques; provide timely feedback to students and school staff. Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support the academic and social-emotional development of all students. Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns or issues that arise. Participate in school meetings professional development activities and other school-related events as required.
