Service Estimator - Roofing Waterproofing
Location: Surrey OfficeSt Surrey BC V3Z 1A5
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Onsite
Anticipated Hours of Work: e.g. Monday to Friday 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
Salary: $60000 (negotiable based on experience)
Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly every second Friday
Reports To: Director of Service and Special Projects

Were growing and currently seeking a Service Estimator to join our dynamic Roofing & Waterproofing team in Surrey. If youre analytical detail-oriented and ready to advance your estimating career this is the opportunity for you.
What Youll Do
- Lead the estimating process for roofing and waterproofing service projects
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide updates on bids awarded projects and new opportunities
- Maintain and update directories of vendors contractors and subcontractors
- Review project documents (drawings specs tenders) and perform accurate takeoffs
- Source pricing from manufacturers suppliers and subcontractors
- Perform calculations and enter data into Timberline based on drawings and site visits
- Prepare and submit bid forms tender packages and quotations
- Follow up with clients consultants and general contractors on bid status
- Collaborate with CAD purchasing and production teams to ensure alignment
- Assist with bid bonds warranties CCDC documents and related bid materials
- Thrive in a fast-paced collaborative and deadline-driven estimating environment
What You Bring to the Team
- Diploma or degree in engineering architecture or construction management (asset)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in estimating preferably in roofing or waterproofing
- Familiarity with commercial roofing/waterproofing systems and construction practices
- Ability to read blueprints drawings and technical specifications
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication across internal and external teams
- Experience with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam PlanSwift) is considered an asset
- High level of integrity with confidential project and bid information
- Strong multitasking time management and prioritization skills
