Are you a passionate Pilates professional ready to lead mentor and make a lasting impactFitWise Pilates part of theMNTSTUDIOfamily is looking for aCertified Lead Instructorto join our beautifulMill Valley studio. This is your opportunity to step into a leadership role where your teaching expertise team-building skills and love of movement will shape both client experiences and the future of our instructor team.
Open to both part-time and full-time candidates.
What Youll Do Core Responsibilities
Lead and Teach with Purpose
- Teach up to20 dynamic Reformer Pilates classes or privates weekly creating engaging challenging and safe experiences for clients of all fitness levels
- Set the studio standard through your teaching style professionalism and positive energy
- Serve as theprimary substitute instructorwhen needed
Inspire and Manage a High-Performing Team
- Oversee instructorscheduling and team coordinationto ensure smooth daily operations across studios
- Conduct regularclass audits and performance reviewsto support instructor development
- Mentor coach and uplift team members fostering a positive collaborative studio culture
Recruit Train and Develop Talent
- Collaborate with ourHead of Educationto recruit top instructors and lead new hire onboarding
- Manage ourInstructor Mentorship Program guiding trainees into confident skilled instructors
Drive Our Teacher Training Program
- Support thedevelopment and deliveryof both in-studio and online Teacher Training Programs
- Take initiative insales and outreachfor teacher training opportunities
- Promote and enroll future instructors into our education programs
- Complete theMNTSTUDIO Teacher Trainingand help train others in theMNT Signature Method
Support Studio Operations
- Overseemaintenance and timely repairof all Pilates equipment
- Step in asacting Studio Managerwhen needed to ensure seamless studio function
What Were Looking For
- Certified Pilates Instructorwith strong expertise in Reformer Pilates
- Minimum3 years of professional teaching experiencein a group setting
- Proven leadership ability and apassion for mentoring
- Strong communication organization and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing teams or training programs is a plus
- Driven by personal growth education and exceptional client care
Compensation and Benefits
- $40 to $80 per class based on experience and performance
- Separatehourly rate for administrative duties
