Job Skills / Requirements
We are looking for a 3rd shift Campus Security Officer in Cedar Rapids!
Hours: Wednesday through Sunday 12:00am-8:00am
Pay: $17 an hour.
Job Duties:
- Patrol Campus on foot or patrol car.
- Perform building unlocks and lock ups at scheduled times.
- Deal with non-emergent and emergent issues in a professional manner.
- Report incidents to law enforcement.
- Assist students or staff when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to pass State of Iowa/FBI background check performed by Iowa Department of Public Safety.
- Must have clean driving history. (MVR check will be performed.)
- Must be able to pass 4-panel drug screen.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be comfortable being exposed to/drive-in all weather conditions year around.
- Must be able to work overtime if client needs it.
- Must be able to remain calm under high stress situations.
