Job Description
Position Summary:
Coperion is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to support our location in Whitewater WI. The Production Supervisor will support Operations by leading the Assembly and Maintenance group to achieve on-time delivery and revenue targets. We have a 5S environment a very clean production floor and great people to work with!
Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am - 3 pm & Friday 6 am - Noon
Work Youll Do:
Supervise the assembly operations at Coperions Whitewater WI location.
Direct the efforts of 20 employees to ensure efficient production.
Coordinate with Production Control and other Supervisors to meet on-time delivery goals.
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment through regular inspections safety compliance accident investigations and scheduling equipment maintenance.
Conduct quality verifications of manufactured products to ensure standards are met.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and foster a continuous improvement culture.
Initiate remedial corrective actions participate in interviewing employment candidates and recommend personnel actions such as hiring discharges and promotions.
Adhere to ISO 9001 standards work instructions and procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
Team:
This role will be a part of the Manufacturing Operations team.
Basic Qualifications:
Associates degree in a related field.
5 or more years of manufacturing experience.
Knowledge in light to medium machine assembly.
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple work assignments to meet deadlines.
Professional communication skills with co-workers customers and vendors.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desired.
