Job Description
Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join and lead a hard-working team of associates at our Joliet IL Warehouse location. As a Logistics Supervisor you will ensure safety quality and productivity metrics are met while leading various process improvement projects and participating in cross-functional teams on warehouse and network design initiatives.

What You Will Do:
- Lead a team of 20-40 holding them accountable to savings and productivity standards
- Oversee logistics activities including inventory control warehousing transportation logistics planning order processing and customer service
- Partner with cross-functional teams in Quality Planning Procurement and Manufacturing to proactively identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to logistics operations
- Assist in developing the site logistics budget with a focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics
- Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs
- Monitor fixed assets and coordinate implementation of approved capital improvement projects in your functional areas
- Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports
- Resolve quality service & cost issues
- Support oversight of inventory levels
- Additional Job Duties as assigned
Position Details:
- This position is located at:
1701 Gateway Blvd Joliet IL 60431 - Work Week and Shift:
2pm-10pm M-F weekends and extra hours as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent/GED and 4 years of experience in a manufacturing logistics or related environment
- 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Transportation Business or a related field of study
- Proficiency with SAP MS Access and Excel
- Previous project management experience
- Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgement think critically and work well in cross-functional teams
