The Boeing CompanyPosition Overview:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently looking for a Quality System Specialist to join the 787 Aircraft Readiness Log (ARL) Serial Number Control (SNC) Delivery Records team located in North Charleston selected candidate will be responsible for leading projects executing activities and overseeing compliance in alignment to our Quality Management System to support the 787 Aircraft Readiness Log (ARL) Serial Number Control (SNC) and Delivery Records business goals strategies and objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
Works with organizations to develop strategies plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.
Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
Leads and executes projects with cross-functional teams to support 787 Program and Quality production system improvements and compliance to processes (i.e. ARL RFID / OCR parts library etc.)
Conducts research compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation related to ARL / SNC / Delivery Records
Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
Oversees and manages team-owned command media RIM and ARL / SNC & Delivery Records website
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
5 years cross-functional experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS) and/or Quality Management System (QMS) 787 Program
5 years experience with Velocity REDARS Enovia following detailed work instructions reading and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications.
3 years experience collecting and analyzing data metrics models and flows
Strong communication skills and a self-starter that takes initiatives without supervision
Adaptable and able to operate in a dynamic environment to meet objectives on time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
5 years of experience using Microsoft tools (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
5 years of experience in a role that managed projects / activities with deadlines
