Were looking for an experienced Field Sales Account Manager to sell all our Software products to SLED Customers in the New England Region. We want someone who has been recently calling on the State IT Agencies in the assigned States. This Account Manager will be selling all our software products. Candidates need to have a lot of Field Sales experience and understand sales cycles and have recent experience selling to SLED Customers. We are looking for an Account Manager with a hunter mentality and extensive contacts in the SLED communities. Our focus is on large state IT agencies then large city/county organizations followed by large universities and large K-12 school districts.
Need to have a lot of Field Sales Account Manager experience and be able to sell Computer Networking and Cybersecurity Software products. We want to hire an Account Manager that is confident and collaborative and can work with Sales Engineers to close business with SLED Customers.
We need an experienced Account Manager that has software sales experience around complex sales cycles selling direct to SLED accounts and have a demonstrated record of relationship building with SLED customers and Channel partners.
We need some that has experience selling complex software in the field. We need experience selling to SLED and public sector someone that has done POCs or long sales cycles
Someone out of a Software Product Manufacturer. ( Not Storage / Not Reseller)
Need an Account Manager that has sold large deals more like 500K and a track record of selling to SLED Customers we need someone with bigger deals and bigger account experience. Long sales cycles we see for products with much higher ASPs typically we want someone who has had a number of positions selling products with an ASP of 500K or higher.

Experience Requirements:
10 years of enterprise software field sales experience to SLED Customers
5 years sales experience in Computer Networking other Cybersecurity software solutions.
Experience selling Networking and Security products to SLED Customers
Understands complex sales cycle with multiple constituents POC process etc.
A quantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory/professional growth
Track record of opening new accounts as well as selling into existing SLED customers
An overall understanding of our technology market and client profile
Track record of exceptional funnel build and quota achievement
Drive to succeed established customers and contacts and territory knowledge
You will need the skill to independently work with large complex accounts
140K - 150K Base Salary plus Uncapped Commission.
Locations: Boston / New England area
50% Travel in this role
