Job Description
Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Correctional Facility in Wasco California
Pay Rate: $69.25 to $71.25 per hour
Schedule: Part-time contract 6 months (with potential for extension)
- Wednesday - Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Requirements
- At least 12 months of continuous direct patient care experience within the past 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting
- Active and valid California Physical Therapy license (hard copy required)
- Valid photo identification (Drivers License or Passport)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated and current clinical competencies

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Physical Therapy services in compliance with CDCR facility policies and evidence-based clinical standards
- Provide care upon physician referral and written order
- Treat patients with an existing and documented diagnosis who seek Physical Therapy services directly
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to documentation protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety
