Job Description
A construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee daily operations on active job sites across Brooklyn and New Jersey. This hands-on leadership role involves managing subcontractors maintaining schedules ensuring safety compliance and reporting progress to upper management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized solution-oriented and capable of managing multiple teams while keeping projects on time and within budget. A minimum of 34 years of construction management experience is required.
Responsibilities Include:
Supervising daily job site activities and ensuring consistent progress
Coordinating subcontractors and managing on-site personnel
Monitoring schedules budgets and materials to avoid delays or overruns
Enforcing site safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations
Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
Reporting project status and issues to senior management
Ideal Qualifications:
34 years of experience in construction management (required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Familiarity with construction timelines inspections and safety standards
Additional Info:
Field-based role covering job sites in Brooklyn and New Jersey
