Job Description
Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer required for a leading provider of engineering solutions.
The successful Design Engineer / Senor Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design development and commissioning of automated systems including PLC/SCADA instrumentation and control solutions. Ensure compliance with international standards and support project delivery from design to handover.
This is a hybrid role the successful Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer should expect to be in the office near Guildford 3 days a week.

Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and commissioning of automated control systems
- Develop electrical instrumentation and control systems for diverse projects
- Design and program PLC HMI and SCADA systems including simulation and testing
- Prepare technical documentation and select compliant field instrumentation and safety devices
- Ensure adherence to international standards (IEC BS EN ATEX SIL) and support site commissioning and handover
Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Background in EC&I engineering including design controls or commissioning
- Proven experience in industrial automation and process control systems
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation panel design and hazardous area equipment
- Proficient in electrical design tools (e.g. EPLAN AutoCAD Electrical)
- Familiar with industry standards and able to commute to Guildford 3 days a week.
