Our client
This firm are a top architecture and design company in Canada and are hiring for a Specification Writer to join their dynamic team. This role can be worked remotely anywhere from Canada and is a great opportunity for a talented Spec writer with experience in the architecture industry to join a top firm.
Your new role
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural specifications.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to ensure specifications meet project requirements.
- Utilize CloudSpec or SpecLink software to enhance specification accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and specifications across retail commercial residential and industrial sectors.
- Update and manage master specifications to reflect current industry standards and practices.
What youll need to succeed
- 7 years of experience in a Specification Writer role within an Architecture setting.
- Experience with updating master specs and working with various documents
- Ability to work primarily from book specs but knowledge of drawing specs is required.
- Experience with CloudSpec or SpecLink is an asset.
- Product and spec knowledge of products within retail commercial residential and industrial areas is required.
