Job Description

Leidos is seeking a Remote Work and Family Life Program Supervisor oversees information/referral one-on-one consultation and education/training in Work and Family Life Programs. Provide comprehensive coordination and oversight of all contract staff regularly collaborating with Dept. of Defense organization representatives to manage schedules assess performance and ensure service quality. Monitor staff training enforce compliance with contract performance and productivity standards and verify that every service is accurately documented and counted in the Fleet and Family Support Management Information System (FFSMIS).They supervise contractor-provided WFL (Work and Family Life) programs and services and provide training support and performance oversight for WFL and AFC (Accredited Financial Counselor) providers and coordinate training programs such as Deployment Support Transition Assistance Personal Financial Management Family Employment Readiness Relocation Assistance and Disaster Response.

Candidate MUST be within 100 miles of DC or Jacksonville FL for potential onsite meetings

MUST be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Duties

Directs work to be accomplished by WFL (Work and Family Life) staff. Assigns work based on priorities difficulty and requirements of assignments and staff capabilities. Conducts annual performance reviews of staff. Ensures staff receives proper training to fulfill requirements of their positions. Addresses potential disciplinary and/or performance issues timely and takes appropriate corrective action(s) as necessary. Directly supervises and leads staff assigned to the remote WFL program.
Networks and coordinates with Navy and civilian human service agencies to stay aware of available services ensures required services are provided when referrals are made and provides information and assistance to such agencies when requested.
Evaluates and interprets data to identify and clarify issues and concerns; recommends appropriate course of action to positively affect Navy family relationships and the mission. Implements procedures to monitor analyze and document service effectiveness. Implements WFL service plans to meet short and long-range program goals.
Serves as a Technical Assistant (TA) for all Contractor WFL services. Reviews/signs contractor work schedules leave travel and training requests as delegated by supervisor.
Reviews WFL group programs and services to ensure completion in accordance with contract requirements and shows an accurate accounting for services in the Fleet and Family Support Management Information System (FFSMIS). Institutes organizational procedures that promote communication and harmonious working relationships among the team to develop individual strengths and provide for effective accomplishment of goals and requirements.
Maintains necessary program and administrative materials and files; makes available Family Readiness policies procedures directives and instructions to the team.
WFL consultants collaborate with FFSP (Fleet and Family Support Program) stakeholders to plan schedule and execute training services to ensure effective and efficient delivery of various educational programs and services to service members and families.

Requirements

Masters degree in adult education social science or related field a combination of graduate education and experience equivalent to a masters degree or six years of equivalent experience in adult education social science or related field. Minimum 2 years managing and coordinating multiple site adult educational or social service programs.

This position supports the Navy Fleet and Family Support contract. NFFS delivers comprehensive Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) services worldwide ensuring consistent high-quality support for active-duty Sailors retirees eligible civilians overseas and their families. The program implements evaluates and continually refines established FFSP offeringsdeveloping the concepts structures and processes needed to maximize well-being across all installations. Key objectives include providing global staffing to supplement existing FFSP personnel through remote or surge/on-demand support and delivering webinar hosting production and facilitation via a robust learning-management system.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72150.00 - $130425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
