Inside Sales Manager

OSITION: Inside Sales ManagerFULLTIME: Direct HireLOCATION: Pacoima CASCHEDULE: M-F & As NeededPAY RANGE: $55K-$60K(Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Oversees the daily operations of the inside sales department leading inside sales associates in successfully achieving company initiatives. Essential responsibilities include managing associates retaining customers and coordinating with other department heads.

Inside sales manager responsibilities:

• Directly manages a team of inside sales representatives
• Builds strong relationships while acting as a liaison between the customer and the corporate office
• Manages daily workflow and delegates tasks within the inside sales department
• Establishes inside sales policies and procedures
• Creates and tracks inside sales goals
• Has ownership and maintains accountability for performance of the department
• Compiles and analyzes data to measure department performance and reports out to upper management
• Manages customer escalations and engages with customer leadership where necessary to ensure continuity of relationship
• Sets customer satisfaction targets and works with the team to meet targets consistently
• On-boards and trains new employees
• Interacts with customers daily by answering their questions and directing them to the appropriate service for their needs
• Runs regular sales reports to ensure department metrics are being met (i.e. order processing turns customer response times etc.)
• Collaborates with other departments to achieve organizational goals
• Communicates and manages customer expectations both internally and externally
• Conducts performance reviews of subordinates
• Advocates for customers

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Onsite requirement 5 days a week
• Five years of experience in inside sales or customer service; management experience required
• Experience managing customer quotes and entry level product portfolio questions
• Proficiency in data analysis and sales reporting is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Google Suite a plus
• ERP experience required (ex: SAP NetSuite X3 etc.)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Use of computers and technology
