Job Description

Daily Racing Form (DRF) the leading source for horse racing and sports betting content is seeking a Head of Business Development to drive our B2B growth strategy. As we expand partnerships with top sportsbooks like FanDuel media platforms and racing organizations we are looking for a strategic commercially driven leader to shape the next chapter of DRFs evolution.

About the Role

As Head of Business Development you will:

  • Lead B2B partnerships with sports betting operators racing associations and media/tech companies.
  • Negotiate multi-million-dollar affiliate licensing and co-branded deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify market expansion opportunities in wagering content syndication and digital media.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Technology teams to launch integrated revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Represent DRF at industry events strengthening our position in sports betting and racing.

Team Management:Lead and mentor a high-performing commercial team ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering on revenue targets.

Market Expansion:Identify and prioritize new market opportunities leveraging existing partnerships and forging new ones.

Global Mindset:Willingness to travel internationally as needed to secure deals and expand market presence.

This is a high-impact role for a senior executive who thrives on building relationships closing complex deals and shaping long-term commercial strategy.

What Were Looking For

  • 10 years in business development partnerships or commercial leadership in sports betting gaming or digital media.
  • Proven B2B expertise with success forging strategic alliances and revenue-driving partnerships.
  • Strong industry network in sportsbooks media and racing organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams closing complex deals and scaling revenue.
  • Passion for sports horse racing and innovation in the wagering space.
