SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION BUS DRIVERS $33.00/ hr - Apply Today!
Community Leadership Academy and Victory Preparatory Academy award-winning charter schools are now hiring School Bus Drivers for the 2024-2025 school year.
Our School Bus Drivers must ensure proper vehicle maintenance observe safety and traffic rules and maintain order among students while they are on the bus. To be successful as a School Bus Driver you should enjoy working withchildrenand strictly observe passenger transport regulations.
Responsibilities for School Bus Driver
- transport students to and from school and special events
- maintain a high standard of cleanliness/disinfection inside the bus
- adhere to an assigned schedule
- arrive at pick-up and drop-off points in a timely manner
- ensure the safety of all bus passengers
- complete maintenance records and incident reports
- conduct daily inspections of the vehicle prior to operation
- recognize and report any required bus maintenance
Qualifications
Salary:
- Hourly pay will be $33.00. Extra time will be paid for events transportation.

- Qualifications for School Bus Driver
- completion of a government-certified driver training program
- professional drivers license with school bus endorsement
- 3 years professional bus driving experience
- 1 year working with children
- clean five-year driving abstract and no at-fault accidents within the last five years
- familiarity with the assigned driving zone
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- pass background check
- valid first aid certificate
