Job Description

JOB TITLE: Assembly Specialist - Aerospace
LOCATION: Renton WA
PAY RATE: $64/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Oversees the manufacturing of completed units by coordinating activities such as:

  • Assembly of components into subassemblies

  • Joining of structural assemblies (metallic and non-metallic)

  • Installation of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems using fasteners (screws bolts rivets solder crimping/swaging connectors adhesives)

  • Testing using mechanical electrical and electronic equipment

  • Collaborates with engineering management suppliers and customers to ensure product requirements are met and accepted.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Familiarity with aircraft structures systems and subassembly processes (metallic and composite).

  • Ability to read aerospace engineering drawings wiring diagrams and work instructions.

  • Skilled in using aerospace-grade fasteners such as Hi-Loks rivets torque bolts and blind fasteners.

  • Experience with installation and troubleshooting of aircraft systems (electrical hydraulic pneumatic).

  • Competent with hand and power tools commonly used in aerospace manufacturing including torque tools rivet guns and crimpers.

  • Ability to accurately complete logs inspection reports and digital records in accordance with FAA or company standards.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
