Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to work in the Supply Planning function for the Ice Cream category. This role involves managing production planning inventory optimization and ensuring seamless coordination across functions to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in FMCG or the food industry and demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and planning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute supply plans to meet demand forecasts while optimizing inventory levels.
- Lead production planning activities in collaboration with manufacturing units and demand planners.
- Monitor and manage inventory across the supply chain to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with procurement logistics and warehousing teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Utilize SAP and other planning tools to manage supply data generate reports and drive decision-making.
- Identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Marketing and Finance to align supply plans with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply planning processes and systems.
- Prepare and present supply planning insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:- 5 years of experience in supply planning preferably in FMCG or food industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; experience with planning tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Educational background in Supply Chain Operations or related field; MBA preferred.
