Position location: Platt City Missouri
Shift info: 8a-430p M-F
Estimated salary range: $25.00-30.00

This manufacturing position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Powder Coater. This person will be responsible for various tasks related to Powder Coating operation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our manufacturing processes.
Job Duties
- Oversee and perform powder coating activities while ensuring high quality and adherence to production standards.
- Operate powder coat guns ensure proper maintenance and handling.
- Prepare parts for coating including masking plugging or washing.
- Inspect coated items for defects touching up defeats as necessary.
- Control and adjust the application process to correct inconsistencies or poor coverage.
- Maintain safe work environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Maintain equipment in good working order by following manufactures instructions and established procedures troubleshooting malfunctions and scheduling repairs.
- Monitor the quality of the product and the efficiency of the coating process to maximize product.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet stringent deadlines.
- To perform other duties as required from time to time as requested
Qualifications
Position Qualifications
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Previous experience powder coating is required
- Watching gauges dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Conducting tests and inspections of products services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Keep workshop area including floor clean and tidy and in a safe working condition
- Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return to correct place after use
