We are looking for aCompliance Associate to support our Financial Crime Program through data-driven insights automation support and process analysis. This is a 1-year contract and a hands-on opportunity for a curious analytical and proactive individual who wants to learn how compliance operates at scale in a fast-paced FinTech environment. There is potential for the role to transition into full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the analysis of compliance workflows and financial crime processes to identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Financial Crime team to gather clean and interpret data from key compliance systems (e.g. transaction monitoring screening platforms case management tools).
  • Assist in generating regular and ad hoc reports to support regulatory metrics operational KPIs and trend identification.
  • Collaborate with product engineering and compliance stakeholders to help document existing processes and contribute ideas for optimisation.
  • Conduct desktop research on evolving global AML/CTF regulatory requirements particularly as they relate to data and system-based controls.
  • Contribute to the testing documentation and rollout of enhancements in compliance technology platforms.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and shadow senior analysts to gain exposure to crypto compliance and broader operational risk frameworks.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree in a data finance law or tech-related field (e.g. Data Science Economics Computer Science Law or Business).
  • A strong interest in compliance financial crime prevention and how data powers decision-making in the crypto ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) and basic experience or interest in SQL Python metabase or other data tools.
  • Strong communication and writing skills youll be helping translate between compliance requirements and operational needs.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to tasks and problem-solving.
  • Eagerness to work in a high-growth fast-changing environment where learning never stops.
  • Passion for crypto decentralised finance and the future of digital money.
