Job Description

Your Role:

Corporate Communications and Public Relations Manager is responsible to design and implement the strategy for Allergan Aesthetics corporate communications public relations corporate responsibility (ESG) employees communications with the main goals to enhance and protect Allergan Aesthetics corporate reputation and be a strategic partner.

This position will play a critical role in driving the communications strategy across the affiliate supporting executive communications and affiliate-level communications. This role provides strategic oversight ensures alignment between region and local priorities and helps distill IMCOs plans into actionable localized initiatives.

The Brazil Communications Lead will achieve their goals through oversight of corporate communications public relations digital activation including social media and executive visibility across the Brazil.

You will be responsible for:

This role serves as a business partner in the intermediation and pull-through of differentiated and insights-driven Corporate and PR Communication plans - that will increase the share of voice of our brands as well impacts of our initiatives. The successful candidate will possess the ability to balance owned earned and paid activations with local needs to develop a comprehensive strategy and partner with the ALT to implement the planned programs.

 

  • Design develop and implement Allergan Aesthetics Corporate communication strategy that includes internal and external Communications Corporate Responsibility Public Relations as well as Customer and Consumer engagement to enhance and protect AAs reputation in accordance with AA and AbbVie Communication global policies and guidelines.
  • Strategic Oversight
    • Lead the strategic planning and execution of communications efforts ensuring alignment with Regions leadership and Allergan Aesthetics international vision and business objectives.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to affiliate leadership providing guidance on communications strategies that enhance brand reputation drive employee engagement and support commercial objectives.
    • Partner cross-functionally with other business units including marketing commercial teams and HR to ensure aligned messaging in all initiatives.
  • PR Communication & Crisis Management
    • Cascade develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance brand reputation and awareness
    • Lead crisis management efforts maintaining brand integrity during challenging situations
  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:
    • Collaborate with marketing sales AMI  and BTS teams to align digital strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives.
    • Be the Communications representant across all affiliate brand teams contributing to the brands strategy and the achievement of business goals.
  • Digital Activation:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital customer engagement strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
    • Identify key digital channels and platforms for customer interaction including social media email marketing and other relevant channels.
    • Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate information to customers through various digital channels.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital customer engagement strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
    • Oversee and manage the companys social media presence ensuring a consistent and positive brand image.
    • Monitor social media trends and engage with customers through social platforms.
  • Content Creation
    • Craft internal communications materials announcements and updates to keep employees informed about key developments.
    • Create and localize content for various communication channels including social media newsletters websites and press materials.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze digital engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital strategies.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to the management team on digital performance and customer engagement.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
    • Stay informed about industry regulations related to digital marketing and customer engagement.
    • Ensure all digital activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Executive Communications
    • Provide dedicated communications support to  Brazil leadership including crafting speeches presentations and key messages that amplify leadership visibility and impact.
    • Develop and implement tailored executive engagement strategies to strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Prepare AAs spokesperson for corporate/business themes when required to be spokesperson and champions of AA brand with external stakeholders as media.
  • Set and manage the functions budget and award and manage contracts to provide additional expertise and capacity to the team as required.

Qualifications :

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Communication Journalism Public Relations
  • Fluent English and Portuguese
  • Health Pharma Aesthetics experience ideal
  • Public Affairs/Corporate Communications experience required
  • Proven ability to distill complex strategies into actionable plans and to adapt them to diverse markets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to different audiences.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and compliance considerations is a plus.
  • Acumen for how communications creative and digital agencies operate: scope of work process/mgmt. timelines Experience with crisis communication and media training.
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident operating in an international context.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Minimum experience of 8 years in the area of Corporate Communication / Public Relations of a company
