Lead Workday U.S. Payroll Consultant

Role Overview
You will serve as our senior advisor on Workday U.S. Payroll implementations ensuring seamless tax and regulatory compliance. From building payroll calculations to configuring tax engines you ll deliver accurate efficient payroll solutions and guide clients through every phase of go-live and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 3 full-cycle Workday U.S. Payroll implementations including design build validation and hypercare
- Configure payroll components: Tax Engine Payroll Calculations Deductions Garnishments and Off-Cycle Processing
- Map legacy payroll data execute conversions and validate pay results with parallel testing
- Develop and audit security policies to protect sensitive payroll data and ensure SOX/GARN compliance
- Create payroll dashboards and RaaS feeds for real-time pay analytics and executive reporting
- Train payroll administrators produce runbooks and advise on best-practices for ongoing support
Required Qualifications
- 5 years in Workday Payroll consulting with at least three end-to-end U.S. Payroll implementations
- Active Workday Payroll Certification (must be transferable)
- Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations and garnishment processes
- Strong data-migration and parallel-testing experience
- Exceptional stakeholder-management and client delivery skills
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with third-party payroll integrations (e.g. ADP Ceridian)
- Exposure to Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules
