Job Description:
Business Analyst Data & Analytics Domain
Candidate should have strong analytical capabilities a deep understanding of data platforms and a passion for driving business value through data-driven solutions.
This role will support projects built on Azure ADLS and related technologies with a focus on Retail and Wholesale Pricing domains.
Roles and Responsibilities
Capture business problems value drivers and functional/non-functional requirements and translate into functionality.
Assess risks feasibility opportunities and business impact.
Model processes data flows and technology to understand current value and identify improvement opportunities.
Create and maintain clear documentation of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs through testing and scope changes to final solution.
Collaborate with software suppliers designers and developers to understand limitations and ensure requirements are met.
Configure and document software and processes using agreed standards and tools.
Define acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs through coordinated testing.
Create and present compelling business cases to justify solution value and secure approval and funding.
Initiate plan execute monitor and control Business Analysis activities within agreed parameters of cost time and quality.
Lead stakeholder management activities and large design sessions.
Lead teams to complete business analysis on projects.
Define and coordinate testing activities.
Mandatory Skills
Agile project experience with understanding of Agile frameworks and tools.
Experience working in Agile environments and educating stakeholders in Agile ways of working.
Understanding of systems engineering concepts data/process analysis and modeling and product/solution development.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
10 years of experience in IT or Business Analysis roles.
Optional Skills
Agile certifications/trainings (e.g. Scrum Master Product Owner).
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification.
Lean Practitioner training and experience.
Data Knowledge Requirements
Strong understanding of data platforms and architecture especially Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
High-level knowledge of Databricks for data processing and analytics.
Experience with PostgreSQL and Azure SQL for data querying and management.
Knowledge on Python and Power BI is good to have
Familiarity with AI and GenAI tools and technologies.
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
Domain knowledge in Retail and Wholesale Pricing is highly desirable.
