Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 DOE (plus shift differential)
Hours: 3rd Shift 11:00 PM 7:00 AM OT as needed

Position Summary:
Were hiring a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join a fast-paced food processing facility in Owasso. This 3rd shift opportunity is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting abilities and mechanical knowledge in a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in keeping production running smoothly ensuring equipment efficiency and maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Essential Functions:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment including conveyors grinders slicers packaging machines refrigeration units and other food processing machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues to minimize production downtime.
- Inspect diagnose and replace defective parts in machinery to maintain productivity.
- Conduct maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems for optimal temperature control and food safety.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements (OSHA USDA FDA).
- Assist with installation upgrades and equipment modifications as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities including repairs work orders and parts inventory.
- Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Train production staff in proper equipment usage and minor troubleshooting.
- Follow all company policies procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 35 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or meat processing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with electrical systems PLCs and automated machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs. stand for extended periods and work in cold/humid conditions.
- Must be flexible to work nights weekends and holidays if required.
