DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Daily HR Relationships:
Collaborate with HR partners across school districts to address and resolve inquiries related to Oracle and other HR applications. Ensure accurate and timely communication and support regarding data integrity system issues and process alignment. - Support Employee Inquiries:
With guidance from HR partners and external resources respond to employee questions regarding benefits payroll policies initiatives and systems. - Oversee Benefits Enrollment:
Administer the online benefits enrollment process and assist employees throughout the election and decision-making process. - Benefits Administration Expertise:
Serve as a subject matter expert on district benefits programs ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements. - Process Improvement:
Evaluate current benefit processes policies and practices; recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction. - Coordinate with Payroll and Accounting:
Work closely with payroll to resolve discrepancies related to benefit plans coverage and payroll deductions.
- Administration of PSERS & VOYA Process:
Oversee and respond to individual inquiries from district employees and PSERS (Public School Employees Retirement System) representatives regarding monthly and annual PSERS and VOYA retirement reports. Provide support to the Shared Services Associate in the preparation and timely submission of monthly and annual files ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements. - Employee Experience Initiatives:
Support implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at improving the overall employee experience within the districts. - Workflow Documentation and Auditing:
Document work procedures and perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Project Management:
Lead or support projects as directed by the Senior Shared Services Program Manager ensuring collaboration with the broader Shared Services team. - Employee Data Changes:
Provide support to the Shared Services Associate processing school district employee changes upon receipt of personnel action forms ensuring timely and accurate updates. Conduct audits as needed to ensure data integrity and other platforms. - Continuous Improvement:
Actively identify and implement enhancements to district HR practices and processes using technology and systems to drive efficiency. - Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the Shared Services department.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred. Professional HR certification (e.g. PHR SHRM-CP) is also preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of benefits experience. - Communication Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. - Problem-Solving and Innovation:
Demonstrated resourcefulness creativity and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and innovative thinking. - Organizational Skills:
Highly organized with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. - Professionalism and Attitude:
Positive upbeat demeanor with a collaborative mindset and strong customer service orientation. - Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in MS Office; experience with Human Resource Information Systems and other HR technologies. - Confidentiality and Integrity:

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across various levels of the organization. - Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel as needed. - Compliance:
Ability to comply with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit Code of Conduct policy.
Additional Requirements:
- Current Act 114 Act 34 Act 151 and NSOR Clearances required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
- School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.
