Description

We are recruiting a Customer Engagement and Insight Assistant to join us on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2026. We are looking for a people focused individual with experience of working with a diverse range of customers and the ability to build a good rapport. You will provide administrative support to the team support customers at the engagement sessions and help to ensure that all of our customers voices are heard.

Duties include:

  • Act as a key member of the customer engagement & insight team to help ensure that all customer voices count
  • Provide practical and administrative support for customer engagement initiatives
  • Assist with the completion of customer research using a range of digital and in person methods
  • Provide support for customer insight projects to help the organisation deliver policy development and service improvement
  • Assist with the delivery of customer segmentation activities that support us to provide a great tailored customer experience
  • Provide practical and administrative support for service improvement workshops and focus groups

About you

  • Like to multitask
  • Have a positive can-do attitude and can remain calm under pressure
  • Are enthusiastic and willing to learn able to think creatively and to pick up new ways of working quickly
  • Confident in working autonomously and as part of a bigger team


Requirements
  • Experience of working in a customer focused role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisation skills and an ability to work independently as a self-starter and collaboratively
  • Experience of organising events and meetings
  • Experience of creative thinking and adapting to new ways of working quickly
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages eg Excel Word PowerPoint

A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
