Job Summary:The Application Reader reviews and evaluates various application
Additional Department Summary:Assists with the holistic review of applications to determine eligibility for admission to the University of Alabama.
Required Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.
Skills and Knowledge:Advanced knowledge in the usage of personal computers. Strong ability to manage time independently. Ability to review and rank an application in 3 minutes. High attention to detail. Ability to exercise sound judgment. Ability to maintain the strictest levels of discretion and confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality of applications; materials cannot be copied published or posted and individual cases cannot be discussed with anyone outside of Enrollment Management.
Preferred Qualifications:Well-developed computer skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new technology. Familiarity with software such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams Slate CRM. Experience working with young adult and youth populations. Experience with application and admissions review.
