We have a fantastic opportunity for a senior professional Building Services Engineer to join our Facilities Management team.
The main purpose of the position is to help establish and communicate Facilities Managements functional and quality standards for all building and infrastructure capital projects and to identify plan design and manage the upgrade or replacement of obsolete inadequate or worn-out building services plant and systems.
With the Estates strategy in place you will also ensure that new building services plant systems and infrastructure meet the Universitys current and projected functional and operational requirements.

A large part of this role will be working with our consultants and contractors to ensure a high level of service and delivery is upheld. Health and Safety are of the utmost importance.

This is a full-time (37.5 hrs per week) fixed-term role Monday to Friday based on-site
The remuneration is $110100 - $149000 per annum dependent on skills and experience

As an experienced Building Services Engineer our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to influence and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. They will have the technical background to understand projects from multiple viewpoints and this will come from significant commercial and project management experience from a professional consultancy/contractor or other relevant professional environment.
Teamwork customer focus and negotiation skills are vital to the role.
Preference will be given to candidates with a proven understanding of large-scale building portfolios and those who can demonstrate an ability to think and act strategically to provide valuable input to achieve the best long-term outcomes.
