Position: Off-Site Linen Distribution Technician
Location: Northside Forsyth Hospital
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Schedule: Rotating Weekends
Pay: $17.00/hour Weekly Pay

We are seeking a dedicated Linen Distribution Technician to join our team at Northside Forsyth Hospital. This role is critical to ensuring clean and soiled linen is handled delivered and managed in compliance with safety standards and hospital procedures. If you are detail-oriented dependable and customer-focused this could be the right fit for you.
Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital departments.
Collect soiled linen and transport it in covered carts to appropriate areas.
Verify delivery quantities and conduct regular linen inventory counts.
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client issues or linen concerns.
Build strong customer relationships and resolve service issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and safety within work areas.
Adhere to all safety procedures infection control standards and Joint Commission regulations.
Operate equipment and perform clerical tasks as needed (e.g. answering phones basic data entry).
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required.
12 years of experience in healthcare manufacturing or similar industries preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to stand walk bend stoop and lift for extended periods.
Able to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
Must be comfortable working evenings weekends holidays and in a fast-paced environment.
Frequent standing bending reaching pushing pulling and lifting.
Must be able to move rolling carts weighing up to or exceeding 250 lbs.
Ability to meet physical demands for the entire shift.
