Job Summary
Summary:
Responsible to evaluate install test calibrate and repair biomedical equipment; completing preventive maintenance schedules; conducting tests; following manufacturer instructions; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions; improving equipment performance; providing biomedical equipment analyses and reports; training users; maintaining safe operations.

Essential Functions:
-Documents equipment maintenance actions by completing forms reports logs and records.
-Inspects trouble-shoots and repairs clinical equipment systems and electronic equipment.
-Provides support to ensure that clinical equipment meets safety requirements and safety checks loaner equipment prior to use in facilities.
-Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
-Completes work orders and documents completion of work orders and outcomes.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Per-diem Rotating Weekend and Holidays
Experience
experience with equipment maintenance/repair 1-2 years required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate problem solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
- General computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word Excel and the Internet preferred.
- Basic tool knowledge across all categories.
- Basic understanding of SPC principles Knowledge of controls and electric (AC DC low voltage).
