Job Description
KEY JOB DUTIES::
- Lead and perform detailed mechanical engineering analyses and coordinate designs in the gas utilities field.
- Serve as a primary client contact ensuring alignment on project scope budget and schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals scopes of work and cost estimates.
- Establish mechanical design requirements including material selection and equipment sizing.
- Conduct and lead design review meetings with internal teams clients and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards client specifications and industry regulations.
- Develop and coordinate construction materials design standards and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and compliant design solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and assist in resolving complex design-related issues.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering required or related field.
- This position requires 3-6 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or related field.
- E.I.T preferred/P.E. track expected
- Experience in technical report writing gas distribution gas transmission gas facilities and LNG background strongly preferred
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
- Experience using the following software preferred: AutoCAD Excel Bluebeam
SALARY: $85000K - $115000K Based on Experience
