We are now recruiting for a reliable and diligent Full Time Remodeling Carpenter to join our team to ensure our guests receive the highest quality facilities accommodations and amenities at our resorts.

As the Remodeling Carpenter you will be:

Responsible for leading or supporting renovation and remodeling projects across resort properties. This role ensures quality workmanship adheres to timelines and budgets and aligns with department goals under the guidance of the Interior Maintenance Management Team.

CORE FUNCTIONS / ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform framing finish carpentry drywall flooring and installation per project requirements.
  • Follow all applicable codes safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Generate accurate material lists and purchase orders.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Lead assigned renovation projects as directed by management.
  • Schedule coordinate and supervise laborers and subcontractors.
  • Track progress and report updates weekly to management.
  • Identify areas in need of renovation or upgrade and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Assist with preparation of cost estimates requisition requests and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Interior Maintenance team for project planning and departmental goals.
  • Ensure proper communication and completion of assigned work orders
  • Assist in scheduled daily weekly and monthly tasks when not on active projects.
  • Step in to perform general maintenance duties as needed.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in carpentry/remodeling
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and layout construction projects
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical and building codes
  • Physical ability to lift 75 lbs. and work in variable weather conditions
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Must be available weekdays and weekends
