The opportunity

As a Manufacturing Assembly Operator within our Manufacturing team you will operate monitor and maintain custom manufacturing equipment in a precision-focused environment. This role involves hands-on assembly machinery operating process monitoring digital documentation and collaboration with engineering teams to support advanced manufacturing processes.This position has multiple openings.

*This role requires onsite presence in our Plantation FL headquarters Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. At times rotating shifts extended shifts weekends or overtime may be required.*

What youll do

  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Adhere to all cleanliness and handling protocols especially in sensitive environments involving optics or electronics.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow continuity and solve production issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for improvements feedback and calibration tasks.
  • Inspect components finished products visually or with the aid of precision measurement tools and report any non-conformance.
  • Use tablets or computers to accurately complete production reports checklists records and to access work instructions.
  • Set up operate and monitor specialized machines custom-configured for precision manufacturing according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform detailed mechanical and optical assembly tasks manually or with the aides of machines per work instructions.
  • Perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance; report issues to supervisors or technical personnel and assist with diagnostics and part replacements.

The experience you bring

  • Experience in a manufacturing assembly or production environment is nice to have
  • Manual dexterity physical stamina good hand-eye coordination ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately
  • Attention to detail with a focus on product quality and accuracy
  • Computer proficiency including use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace apps
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Basic mathematical measurement and counting skills
  • Team-oriented dependable and safety-conscious
  • Basic mechanical skills including use of tools torque drivers and measurement instruments (calipers micrometers etc.)

Its exciting if you also have

  • Experience working with custom or precision machinery
  • Familiarity with optical systems or mechanical engineering environments
  • Experience with basic programming PLC interfaces or automation scripts
  • Comfort using MES systems for tracking production or inventory
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
